  • tiny mosslilke perennial with silvery nodes
  • leaves opposite, narrow, overlapping, bluish green, up to 3/8 inch long, with a bristle tip
  • flowers tiny, in axils of terminal leaves, the 5 lobes purplilsh-brown with white margins, bristle tipped
  • a modern mystery
  • collected only once, from F. M. 649 about 8.3 miles south of Mirando City in Webb County
  • not seen since 1962
